Dermott Reeve - Secret Weapon?
The Hong Kong selectors dropped a bombshell when they announced that Hong Kong born former England player, Dermott Reeve, had been drafted into the Hong Kong Team for the 2003 Cathay Pacific / Standard Chartered Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. Well, I got no responses but Dermott's inclusion was a bit of a flop. Suffering from a stomach strain, he struggled to score runs in Hong Kong's first game against New Zealand and was ignomiously dropped for the rest of the tournament.
